More About Melinda!


Melinda received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Robert Morris University in 2024. Melinda previously worked at Glade Run’s Adventures summer camp for autistic children. It was there that she found her passion of working within the neurodivergent community, as well as in animal assisted therapy. Melinda has also worked at Glade Run’s intensive outpatient program with children. Melinda is currently working on getting her Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at La Roche university. 

Melinda is passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and develop practical skills for growth. She has a strong interest in working with neurodivergent individuals, and strives to provide a neuroaffirming and inclusive space. 

Her therapeutic approach focuses on helping clients build emotional regulation, coping, and interpersonal skills. Melinda also incorporates psychoeducation and strengths-based strategies to help clients better understand themselves and apply skills in their daily lives. Her approach to therapy is collaborative and empowering. Melinda believes clients should have a voice in their treatment and works alongside them to identify goals, build coping skills, and foster independence. Her goal is to empower individuals to build confidence, resilience, and a life that feels meaningful to them.
